The Wanderer’s Return
On November 25, 1858, 50 years after the running of slaves had been declared illegal by Congress, the Wanderer made landfall on Jekyll Island as the very last slave ship to reach America. This is a photo, taken in 1908, of the surviving members of her cargo.
Just five years later, in 1913, a group of bankers met in secret on Jekyll Island to form the Federal Reserve, their Christmas gift to America.

Here is the synastry between the Federal Reserve (blue) and the chart for the arrival of the Wanderer (red) with her cargo of slaves, represented by Minor Planet (MP) Wanders.
Fed SN on Wanderer Moon and MP Wanders:
Something about that illegal slave ship informed the creation of the Fed. In synastry, the South Node of one party on the other’s Moon denotes a karmic connection. In this case, the Fed’s creation shows a tie to the business of slavery through the tight conjunction of the Wanderer Moon and MP Wanders.
Fed Sun on Fed MP Wanders:
The image of drawing life force from slavery. You’ve heard the old adage about US taxpayers as “debt slaves”?
Fed Moon in T-square to Wanderer Saturn opposite Mars Chiron, activating houses 2, 5, and 8.
This creates a stubborn T-square to the Fed’s chart ruler Moon across its “money houses”. This image of resistance to financial slavery promises a financial crisis (Mars Chiron in the 8th) in payment of that debt (Saturn in the 2nd), which will effect the “comfort” (Moon) of the Fed.
Wanderer Uranus return:
Note the position of Wanderer Uranus, the planet of Freedom and the Rights of Man, in the Fed’s very public 11th house. When the Wanderer delivered its cargo in 1858, Uranus was at 1° Gemini, which is about where it is today. It seems clear that the agenda of financial slavery is about to be rewritten.
The Federal Reserve
Let’s turn now to the natal chart for the creation of the Fed. It was reported that the group of bankers signed off on the deal “just after 6 PM”. I used 6:02. Look at the MC and IC at 0° of the Cardinal signs, and therefore, on the Aries Point (AP). This makes perfect sense, as the purpose of the meeting was to initiate a new era in banking and monetary policy, along with the creation of the income tax.
Fed Aries Point T-square (red):
Fed MC makes a nasty and precise T-square to Pluto in the 12th opposing Fed Sun on MP Wanders, all on the AP: a covert event that coerced the creation of never-ending debt owed to the banks. The image of “bloodsucker” comes to mind.

MP BuckMaster: how apt! See how it sits on the Mars/Jupiter midpoint, squaring Mars (individual initiative) on the Ascendant, and that freedom-loving planet, Jupiter, in the 7th with Uranus. MP BuckMaster wants to keep us “under its thumb”.
The Fed Today
As a young astrologer, I had the great good fortune to have known the brilliant Chicago astrologer Katherine De Jersey, “Astrologer to the Stars”. Note the chart template she holds, used back in the day when we erected our charts by hand.
We met in 1982 , when, as a guest, I was seated next to her at the monthly luncheon of the Astrologer’s Round Table. The twelve members chatted breezily about their favorite methods of chart rectification, much of which went over my head. Suddenly the conversation came to a halt as Katherine turned to me and asked, “And how do you rectify your charts?” Beneath the stare of twelve pairs of eyes, I had to admit that I didn’t. Katherine laughed and, turning to the others, said, “Why, I thought everyone used secondary progressed cusps!”
Blushing and embarrassed, I tried to look busy with my food, but my mind was racing. If progressed cusps could rectify a chart, they could also time events. As soon as luncheon was over, I made a beeline to my desk for the chart of a client whose partner had recently been murdered. Tearing the printer guides off the edges of the dot matrix printout, I stared at the progressed 8th. There it was, the murder, so plainly pre-figured. I learned in that moment to respect the power of the progressed 2/8 axis to bring matters to an end.
Keep this in mind as we turn now to the Fed’s progressed chart. Under the transits of Saturn Neptune to its AP MC, which will force it to change, and with the theme of slavery versus freedom in Wanderer’s Uranus return to 1° Gemini, the Fed’s progressed 2/8 axis has put it in a pickle. The chart is fascinating.
The Federal Reserve chart, progressed to August 14, 2025, shows MP BuckMaster in opposition to MP Banks, both sitting just slightly ahead of the advancing 2/8 axis. This will be in orb through the early Fall, hitting MP BuckMaster first, and crushing MP Banks a year or so later. I take this to mean that Jerome Powell, the current “BuckMaster”, will soon be gone, followed by some negative effect on banking in general due to Fed policy.
Additionally, the three Yods to the angles put a rather fine point on the matter:
ASC Yod to MP Banks on the 8th cusp and NN Chiron: the Fed is forced to own the currency crisis.
DSC Yod to SN in the 11th and MP BuckMaster on the 2/8 axis: current “BuckMaster” Powell will be called to a very public accounting.
MP BuckMaster Yod to Saturn POF in the 8th and DSC: the “good luck” has run out for the “BuckMaster”.
USA and the Fed
I like the USA Liberty chart, and use it here in progressed composite with the Fed.
All angles of the Prog Fed USA Composite are on the AP, like the natal MC/IC angles of the Fed itself: something’s got to give, huge changes underway.
Prog Composite MP BuckMaster and Mars on 12th cusp quincunx Chiron MP FredTreasure Sun in the 7th: the keys to the car are being taken away from the “BuckMaster” due to a national “identity crisis” (Sun Chiron) over Fed and Treasury policy.
Prog Composite Moon at 0 AQU square MP Banks and Jupiter in 8th: the US has entered a new era with regard to the Fed, the emphasis will be on creation and use of new monetary policy and instruments.
The Sky’s the Limit
We have all been held in the belly of the Wanderer by the Creatures of Jekyll Island, who see us as their debt slaves. The Wanderer was the last slave ship ever to reach America, and its Uranus, the Disruptor and emblem of radical freedom, has just made a return.
